We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Automotive Service Manager to join our team.
As an Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive service department.
This includes managing a team of service technicians, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise a team of service technicians, providing guidance and support as needed - Schedule and prioritize service appointments to ensure efficient workflow - Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are performed accurately and in a timely manner - Monitor and control inventory levels of parts and supplies - Collaborate with the sales team to upsell additional services or products to customers - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly - Oversee the service writing process, including accurate documentation of services performed and associated costs - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Experience:
- Previous experience in automotive service management or a similar role is required - Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures - Familiarity with dealership operations and processes - Proficient in brake repair, tire service, air brake systems, and other automotive services - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers - Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team - Proven track record in maximizing profitability through effective management strategies We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
