JOB DUTIES: Lead and develop SQL Stored Procedures that integrate into our Web Applications that manages our web-based e-commerce systems. Work with applications that span the entire supply chain from end user to OEM manufacturer. Work with our Web development teams along with the Network team to design and develop Database Tables, SQL Stored Procedures and SSIS packages. Work with Networks and SQL server 2005 and 2008 server configurations. Communicate in a team environment and communicative effectively with upper management and cross departmental staff. Develop new database applications through the complete system development cycle from conception to delivery. Perform SQL code review and perform in code SQL to Stored Procedure conversion and optimization. Perform database and table modeling optimization. Complete system development life cycle process using agile development framework from conception to delivery. Build information models, entity relationship models, data flow diagrams, traceability matrixes and logical and physical data models. Performance tuning especially tuning complex queries, procedure and indexing strategies. Utilize knowledge of written communication skills including system and database documentation; table schemas; data dictionary; metadata documentation and workflow processes; SQL development; data replication tools and concepts; SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); Data Conversion from different data and files systems into SQL Database, ERWIN Modeling Tool, SQL Server 2005, SQL 2008, DTS Packages, Stored Procedures, Database Modeling, SQL Code optimization techniques, Data Replication, Optional Visual Basic 6.0 /.NET, Automotive Applications, and Agile. Work in a team environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a programmer analyst or software engineer or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a programmer analyst or software engineer.
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Experience must include the following: strong SQL development; SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); SQL server 2005; DTS packages; Stored procedures; designing logical/physical data models, designing work flows across multiple systems; SQL code optimization techniques; data replication and data migration; and version control, using Visual SourceSafe. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
