Position Summary

Sales Representative will identify, target, and pursue profitable new business enterprises in each of the assigned territories. The cumulative goal is to drive and generate additional revenue, support expansions into new markets, and to pursue new business opportunities as they arise. Specific client targets include specialty physicians, large outpatient facilities and hospitals.
The individual will be part of an existing sales function and will have similar responsibility to that of existing team members regarding monthly quotas and key Performance metrics. The position is best suited for an enthusiastic self-starter who works well both individually and as part of the team.
Pursue new and support existing business opportunities for CBLPath key product lines in assigned territory
Identify and develop strategic relationships to further CBLPath market share (hospital partnership, other special relationships);
Help develop and support planning and forecasting for both existing and new businesses;
Understand and market CBLPath product lines and services; actively participate in preparation and attend special events and trade shows to drive new client opportunities;
Use CBLPath CRM and other tools to document new and recurring sales activity and calls;
Serve as key point of contact for all clients
Position Requirements
University Degree in a science, marketing, healthcare or related discipline is required;
Minimum of five (5) years of proven sales experience in medical field - diagnostics, genomics, medical device, laboratory, neuropsychiatric, personalized medicine etc. The seniority of the role will be driven by prior experience;
Proven record of successes, including cold calling and overall lead generation experience;
Prior experience with CRM;
Must be able to drive vehicles with either standard or automatic transmission;
Must have the ability to travel 85%
executing field sales activities nationwide and attend local and regional business meetings;
Strong working experience with Microsoft Suite namely Word/PowerPoint and Excel;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong conflict resolution and relationship management skills;
Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in molecular diagnostics and anatomic pathology.
