The Role:The Manager of Americas Credit & Collectionsis responsible for implementing the strategic vision and roadmap for the Americas credit risk and collections management.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Implement America s credit and collections strategy by leveraging industry experience, peer network, benchmarking avenues and direction from the Global Director of Credit and Collections.
  • Implement credit and collection policies and procedures in compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
  • Oversee the management to drive risk and days in receivables reductions and measure progress.
  • Review and establish effective action plans to mitigate credit and collection risks.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, schedules, including budget, strategic planning and variance reports.
  • Develop working capital KPI s and drive optimization for the Americas.
  • Participate in strategic projects to support business goals, build extensive industry and subsector knowledge
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Evaluate existing systems/processes to reduce complexity and increase process standardization efficiency.
  • Collaborates with multiple levels of management and various business segments including Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and Information Technology.
  • Ability to effectively select, develops, coach, empower and motivate the direct/indirect team to ensure growth in their scope of responsibility and accountability for operational excellence.
  • Ensure direct collaboration with Global Business Services Organization.

  • Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of finance experience
  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field
  • Extensive experience in finance, accounting & FP&A

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master s degree preferred
  • Prior Collection and Credit Management experience preferred
  • Strong problem solving and financial analysis skills
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers
  • Time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Financial modeling ability
  • Experience with database applications
  • Strong computer skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
