Sales Executive

POSITION SUMMARY RNN is currently looking for Sales Executive who is responsible for growing and managing the short form and general market advertisement sales efforts specializing in sponsorship sales and brand marketing. The ideal candidate will also have experience in paid programming (infomercials, shopping, religious programmers). We are looking for an entrepreneurial spirit, strong relationships, industry savvy, and a superior business-building acumen to develop new revenue opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   Drive direct response sales, sponsorship and general advertisement for our station group WRNN, WMCN, WMDE, WWDP Growing existing accounts through effective up-selling and renewals both for long and short form sales Develops and maintains an annual goal and plan document to meet sales quota Identifying and closing new business opportunities through both warm and cold calling Building strong relationships with direct advertisers that lead to sales Create and present sales materials, including e-mails, proposals and presentations  DIRECT REPORTS:  None   EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:    Minimum 5 year experience in short form sales and some experience in paid programming preferred. Experienced networking and establishing new relationships with key players at agencies and direct response advertisers.  Bachelor's Degree.  CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS: Experience selling performance/metric driven ads. Ability to consultatively work with clients to create creative solutions to their advertising needs Strong written communication skills. Multi-platform/integrated sales experience in ad network, digital publishing, or online media preferred. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
